Having problems with your 2000 Jeep Cherokee ?

Why does the engine light keep glaring when I drive? I just recently had a tune-up on my 2001 jeep. I know I need an air filter and belt. Any Help??

I don't think your check engine light will come on if you need a belt or air filter but it is telling you something...you need to to to a parts store and have them connect the OBD (on board diagnostic) unit to the connector on the car under the dash and read the trouble code(s) and they will tell you possible problems to have fixed and what is needed. The problem can be many many things so you need the codes read out and what they mean...could be oxygen sensor problem or many other issues. Most auto stores will do the test for free and help you that way....e.g., Auto Zone, etc.
Take it to Autozone and get an engine diagnostics done. They have a scanner that will give you the code that is causing your check engine light to come on. you can troubleshoot from there.
