2000 Grand Cherokee Dashboard leak
\015 One morning after a rain my passenger floorboard was full of water, but I couldn't find where the water was coming from. I thought it might have been a plugged AC drain, but that didn't seem to make sense. I dried everything out, and last night it rained again so I went to check and found the leak--it's at the far right front edge of the dashboard, about 2 inches from the sidewall. It looks like it's dripping off a metal frame under there, but I have no idea where the leak is originating. It's obviously getting in there from the outside, but I don't know if it would be from the door, the windshield, or the sunroof. Any suggestions?\015
Maybe. If you have a fixed antenna on that side of the vehicle, the large rubber gromet on the wire leading into the passenger compartment may have come out, allowing lots of rain water to enter the vehicle. Happened on my 94 and flooded the passenger side.
I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport, I too have a similar leakage issue with my windshield. I recently had it replaced, it took the glass company 3 tries and 3 windshields, sizewise to fix it in. But now it still leaks around the passenger side, seems to be leaking and running from under the glove box, and I did my own test and saw water coming from the bottom right hand corner of the door, near the running board along the side. What do you think the issue is? we have replaced the windshield 3 times now!!
