Having problems with your 2000 Land Rover Range Rover ?

Brake problem 2000 Land Rover Range Rover will not shift out of park and break lights are not working. Is there a brake switch and where is it? Could it be the switch causing both problems? Fuse and bulbs are fine

Answers :

Sounds like the brake switch is faulty if you lower the plastic trim panel under the dash and then look up under you will see the switch on the brake pedal lever there will be two switches there one for the cruise control ( easy to spot this has rubber hoses on it) and one with wires going to it replace this one and it should cure both probs
