Electricity is always a continuous loop, so very easy to trace.
Since the battery is new, you start there.
Use a test light.
It should light across the terminals.

If it doesn't, then you have a short that drained even the new battery.
The solution then is to recharge the battery, and leave one of the terminals off.
Jump the gap with the test light.
A short in the system will cause the light to go on.
Then you find the short by disconnecting things, one at a time, until the light goes out.

If you don't have a short and the new battery is still good, then you are going to be looking for an open or discontinuity.
You check chassis ground by placing one lead of the test light on the plus terminal, and the other on some chrome or other chassis ground like the engine block.
If that is good, you then move along the positive path, first at the main connection at the starter solenoid, then fusebox, then across the main fuse, then to feeder fuses, ignition switch, etc.

Try the cable on the battery + terminasl as their is a power take off either on teh battery or the starter motor and this has broke
