Having problems with your 2000 Mercedes-Benz CLK ?

Shifting funny , sometimes acts like it does not down shift after slowing down , has gone into the safe mode several times , could this be the the ETC?

Do u have a check engine light on? does it shift hard when you put it in drive. does it go in the limp mode ? it is usually the conductor plate in the transmission. it is called the electrics kit by mercedes. it is in the valvebody of the transmission. not hard to replace.
