Having problems with your 2000 Nissan Frontier ?

Put in new battery. Brake lights and exterior rear light works but that's all. Engine won't turn over, won't even "click". Checked battery....it's a good battery with full power. Why won't it start?

Answers :

Is there an immobilizer or anti theft system in this vehicle?
\015\012If so, the key may have to be reprogrammed to accept it before trying to start it due to loss of battery power to the computer.
\015\012Or the park/neutral safety switch somehow is not allowing power to the starter because it thinks that the car is in gear. Jiggle the gear shift with the brake engaged.
\015\012Good luck on this repair.
Check the main fuse which is located under the hood, hope this helped Tim
