Driver's side window (power windows) doesn't gets

\015 My 2000 Oldsmobile Silhouette Driver's side window (power windows) gets stuck when going up. When I enable the switch to roll up, it gets stuck in a crooked position), so I then use the switch to roll down a bit and then have to guide the window up for it to sit properly. Almost as if it is off track (guides, rollers) of some kind. Any suggestions? Motor sounds OK while operating.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 26-10-2020

Answers :

Lube the window guides with silicone spray, if that doesn't do it then ou will need to pull the door panel and see what is worn out.
Your right the window is (off track) sort of The window regulator as bolted some rivited tothe inside of the door. Theirs roolers that run in tracks that ca break or jump out with the door being slamed ( temper- temper ). This is the usalaul cause. If the whell is broken then the parts store will be glad to sell you or your mechaic a new one. The bolts come out of the door too and it'll act the same way so make sure it's all bolted on before buying a new regulater if your mechanic is going to do the work let him get the part as hes going to have to deal with problems with the part or the store if needed and you don't want to get in the way
