Cause it usually basically simple while the engine is idling the heat is being removed from the engine block by the water pump and the thermostat there's not a great demand for much heat to be removed so I title the car's fine the minute you put it under load it increases the amount of heat that needs to be removed from the engine block itself what I suggest you do is get a digital thermometer a digital infrared thermometer check the temperature of the radiator radiator near the lower hose and also check the temperature of the radiator at the upper holes if the radiator temperatures do not match are very different and the lower hose is cold that means that the radiator fluid is not circulating you may need to change the water pump and check the radiator for restrictionstake the digital infrared thermometer containment within the radiator core itself that will let you know where they're not the heat is being removed from the engine if the radiator is not warm or above 212 degreeshe does not being removed from the engine which means that you have a circulation problem remove the radiator and have it repair if you have ever used any radiator stop leak in your radiator or your car which is only a temporary repair that is often costly later I suggest you remove the radiator upper holes and flush the system removing all of the radiator stop leak productchange a thermostat and check the circulation of the water pump that should cure your overheating problems keep in mind that after all of this is done the system must be bled all of the air must be removed from your cooling system if not it will calls the radiator fluid to boil over depending on your atmospheric pressurewater begins to boil at 212 degrees at sea level and as you go and as you go up in atmosphere the temperature begins to drop at what time it boilsI hope this helps you good luck and God bless
