Having problems with your 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT ?

Cooling fans not coming on engine overheating

There's a contact on your radiator that set the fan on.see if you got
power on that one,also if negatif is ok .any fuse are blown.you can check this simpel by using tester you can by local car shop.looks like a pen and some wire on whit croq clip at the end
set ignition in on position two,dont start engine,now go to that contact
and pull the wires off.mostly two,remember how you pull it off.
the pin from the tester is positif on red wire and the clip on negatif
the pen choudl lid up.if it does you got power,now for test negatif.
reverse the pin and clip on same wire.so pin on black and clip on red.
it chould also lid up.now you have good negatif.so you need to replace that contact sitting in radiator.also the koper ring thats on that contact.
