Having problems with your 2000 Saab 9-3 Viggen ?

No compresion 2000 saab wagon 95 2.3 liter turbo had blown headgasket. replaced the gasket but now it does not seem to have any compression on number 1 cyd. do I not have the timeing marks right. and also is it possible to bend a valve when you turn the engine over if it is not timed right. I have what I think is number 1 piston up on compression stroke with the 2 cams gears mark at the 12 oclock position. please send me pictures of the timing marks and any info . thanks larry

Answers :

Put some oil inside the cilinder 1 only cover the piston.Test again the compression and if result is the same then you have a problem on a burnd valve or cracked head
