Having problems with your 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser ?
Hi, Have a 2000 Standard Diesel cruiser, the aircon works on a trip for about 25mins then starts blowing warm air? Will stay warm until I turn off the aircon for about 10 mins then switch back on, cold air immediately starts blowing for about another 20 mins?? Very frustrating! Travelling speed 110km/h, Fridgy checked gas levels and all is good??
Hello. the problem is within the high or low sensors. The only way to know is to have them tested. An auto electric repair shop has the diagnostic tools to check this out. Joe
There are a few things that it can be. It is usually the refrigerant level is too low. I see that you said that you had it checked. But the problem is when you have the A/C on for a while it circulates the refrigerant throughout the whole system. When checking levels it is not being ran through the whole system. For about $15 you can go to Walmart and get a can of R-134a and fill the system. You will have to run the A/C while filling, and shake the can of refrigerant to get the system to take it. It is going to take a little bit for the system to take the refrigerant. Because the system shows full until the refrigerant is dispersed though out the system. It could also be the motor on the temperature control door. But not real likely. Or another thing that it could be is the panel that has the controls for the level, temp, and fan selector.
