Having problems with your 2000 Volkswagen Jetta TDI ?

Ground shielding wire to needle lift sensor g80

\015 I have a new to me 03' Jetta TDI and am begining to go over it more thoroughly. I noticed the wires to the needle lift sensor had non factory electrical tape wrapped around them. I removed all the tape to find a splicing in of two wires, presumable to lengthen whatever was cut out. I am going to just order a new needle lift sensor. Where the needle lift sensor connects with the harness I noticed more e-tape. Removed this tape to find the black ground connection shielding wire cut. Does anyone know where this wire is intended to go. The manual says ground junction 200 in engine compartment wiring harness.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 14-10-2019
