Having problems with your 2000 Volvo S80 ?

Why does my volvo rock when stopped at lights, sounds like it's going to cut off?

\015 When I am stopped, with my foot on the brake, the car rocks back and forth and sound like it might cut off. Even if it doesn't rock, the motor goes up and down and sounds like it might cut off. Is it the AC? timing belt?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 21-05-2018

Answers :

Probably a bad spark plug (wire, rotor, cap) causing the engine to misfire. Roll down the window and see what you hear. Pop the hood (when parked) and see if the whole engine is jumping from side to side.
