Having problems with your 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier ?

Changed head gasket, now won't start.

\015 Changed my head gasket on my 2001 Chevy Cavalier. Everything is hooked back up, and bolted down, but now she won't start. OBD II says that the Catalyst, EVAP, o2 and o2 heater systems are incomplete. I'm assuming that means that those sensors are unplugged, but I have no idea where to find diagrams of the locations of the sensors, and I am very limited in my automotive skills at the moment. Any help is greatly appreciated.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 25-10-2021

Answers :

I would need to know the actual code numbers to comment, but in general those components would not keep the engine from starting.
Have you checked compression, spark and fuel pressure ?
