Driver side rear brake locks up when it is wet or rainy out.
\015 This happens when you are going slow and right when you step onthe peddle.\015\012\015\012 I replaced the wheel cylinder (bled the brakes), shoes and drums. I think it might be in the porportioning valve. How do you trouble shoot it?\015\012\015\012any other ideas?\015
Answers :
The drivers side rear brake shoes may be adjusted to tightly, so that immedatly when you step on the pedal, it locks up. try adjusting them in a bit first. Also, make sure that the wheel cyliner is the correct one, and it is not to big. i have not ever seen a proportioning valve problem on a cavalier.
