Having problems with your 2001 Chevrolet Impala ?

Looking for a picture of the 02 sensor on a impala they told me it was bank one

It's not that simple...
\015\012you may have anywhere from two to four Oxygen sensors. Bank one on a chevy is drivers side on a rear wheel drive, and front on a front wheel drive. (Bank is basically a cylinder head, so a four cylinder has only one bank, a v-6 or v-8 have two) The exhaust will flow from the head to the tail pipe, so the 1st 0xy is bank one sensor one and usually controls fuel mixture. The next down stream oxy for the same exhaust pipe (Before the banks join) will be bank one sensor two, that is normally after a catalytic conveter, that reads if the emmisions were cleaned up by the cat. The other bank will be the same idea, unless both exhausts meet before a cat.
