Having problems with your 2001 Chevrolet S-10 ?

S10 Intermittent start, Electrical

\015 2001 S10 LS Manual 2.2L\015\012\015\012I was driving my S10 when all the sudden the speakers and radio went out as well as the gauges in my instrument panel. The lights were still functioning. The truck was still running as I was able to make it home. I turned the ignition off and tried to start the pickup again in my driveway to no success. I gave it 5 minutes. I started the truck up again, it seemed to barley want to start. Once started the lights, radio, AC, were working. The oil pressure gauge is functioning, however all other gauges are not functioning but still lit. The truck dies again in an idle. The ignition just clicks at this point when the key is turned. The battery was replaced 2 months ago. I also checked all the fuses which are fine. Any ideas? Thanks in advance\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-10-2020

Answers :

Check you battery cables to make sure they are not corroded, and on tight. Check ground wires for the same, inside the engine compartment, and inside the passenger compartment.
