Having problems with your 2001 Chevrolet Silverado ?

Fuel pressure leak down

\015 I have a fuel pressure issue. When I turn the ignition to the run position, the fuel pressure goes up to 62-64 but within 2 seconds falls to zero. I have replaced the fuel pressure regulator including the two o rings, screen, and the spacer ring. I have also replaced the fuel filter and the fuel pump module. There are no external fuel leaks.\012\012Oddly enough, the truck generally runs good for my 30 mile commute to the office in the morning, but has a random cylinder misfire in the afternoon. Attempting to dyno the random misfire (CODE P0300) led me to the fuel pressure issue.\012\012I have verified that all three of the joints on the fuel rail are sealed correctly with o-rings. \012\012Please Help. I'm at a loss.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 19-07-2021
