Having problems with your 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ?

97 olds 88 radiatior stinks, floor boards are wet and the radiator was empty this morning, problem?

\015\012If you have a water leakage on the floor board passenger side, you have a blown heater core. Do not drive vehicle like that or major damage to engine can occur.
\015\012Look on the passenger side of the firewall for the two hoses going into the heater core, (they are about 2" apart) losen the clamps and unplugg them (you may have to twist them a bit to get them loose), using a nipple or a coupling and 2 hose clamps, hook them up together, this will bypass the heater core and you'll be able to drive your vehicle safely until you can replace the core.
