Having problems with your 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser ?

I have a 2001 Cruiser and recently started having overheating problems with it. The fan isn't coming on like it's supposed to. After researching online I change the low and high speed relays. Didn't help. I then changed the fan itself. Still no help. I recently had to put a new radiator because mine had a small hole in it. I'm at my wits end. Don't know what to do. The engine light is not on but I had the computer read anyway It didn't show any problems. HELP

Answers :

You may have a problem with the thermostat,it may be faulty & needs replacing, now for the fan, the problem could be the temperature sensor that activates the fan it might be faulty & needs to be replaced or it could be a loose wire or connection or connector plug, pull the connector plugs apart & check for corrosion....hope this helps....cheers
