Having problems with your 2001 Chrysler Sebring ?

My a/c compressor got really hot. i am assuming it has burned up. my question is, can i still drive the car if i don't use the a/c or defroster?

You can drive the car no problem, just don't hit the AC switch or you will smoke the road, Till the belt burns off. The comp is probably out of oil, you might be able to get it filled up and be ok, if it hasn't seized up. Check it out.
You should be able to with no problems, you should still be able to us the defroster as well so long as you don't turn on the A/C.
