Having problems with your 2001 Dodge Intrepid ?

I have a 2001 Dodge Intrepid w/ 2.7 litre engine. The engine cranks, engine turns over , but, will not start. If I add fuel to the intake, it will not start. I assume it does not have spark. It has individual coils on each spark plug wire. Where can I start to check for spark?

Answers :

You need to have it put on a scan tool to find out what is causing the no start condition.it could be the crank sensor or cam sensor.if the computer doesn`t receive a signal from either of these it will not start.you need to find out with a scan tool what is happening by looking at the readings the computer is seeing.
