Having problems with your 2001 Ford Escape ?

2001 Ford Escape a/c

\015 When at speeds of 55 mph and higher,wife says that a/c starts blowing warm air not cold. When car is stopped I can hear the compressor come on when I turn it on. Sounds like for some reason the valve that regulates coolant flow through your heater core is stuck open (even when your temp. control is all the way counter-clockwise). Look at the valve and try to figure out why it's not closing all the way..Could be a linkage proble, The linkage between the heat control on the dash and the valve could be broken or stuck..Also check the thermostat
