Having problems with your 2001 Ford F150 Styleside SuperCrew ?

My odometer goes on and off randomly while I'm driving. Is this a computer problem that has to be taken to a shop to fix? Or can I save hundreds and do it myself? And could this also lead to other mechanical problems?

When i turn my head lights on i blow #8 fuse. i have no instrument panel lights...help

The problem is cold solder joints on the board. You can do it yourself if you can handel working with small stuff. This is not a computer problem. I had the same problem the total fix was about 1.5hrs.
