There is a conflict with your vehicle and the listing you made for the type of vehicle. But several things to point out. First, if you drive on the opposite side of the road in France versus the United States, the headlight aim would be reversed.

\012The aim of the headlights can be different in the United States depending on State rules. In general, the curbside light is adjusted higher and the light on the oncoming traffic side is lower. The traffic side is adjusted more towards the center of the vehicle and the curbside is slightly over the curb. You do not want a dark area in the middle of your travel direction.

\012The vehicle is between 25 and 30 feet from a flat surface The light is adjusted a certain height from the ground. These specs vary and the height of your lights can come into play. Cover the opposite headlight to isolate the beam from the one you are adjusting. A simple towel can cover a lens.
