Having trouble to start the van, battery, starter all seems to

\015 I am just copying the comments from my last thread as I could not further comment using the link. ThanksHaving trouble to start the van, battery, starter all seems to fine and when you try to start, it just keeps trying and never starts. Its ford Windstar 2001 LXComments:Sep 28, 2009have the van checked for proper fuel pressure, also have the electronic engine control odule checked for trouble codes.Using the device to check any fault, scans and comes back "NO CODES", I wasn't happy when I filled the gas last time in some remote country side. Not sure if that caused the problem. Is there any way I can check for proper fuel pressure myself. Thanks for the immediate response though.Comments:Sep 28, 2009- to check fuel pressure you need to buy a fuel pressure test gauge for a Ford, about $50, the test port is on the top of the engine in the pipe that goes over and supplies fuel to the injectors, it look like a tire valve.Comments:Sep 28, 2009- to check fuel pressure you need to buy a fuel pressure test gauge for a Ford, about $50, the test port is on the top of the engine in the pipe that goes over and supplies fuel to the injectors, it look like a tire valve.Changed the relay switch, and while changing the fuel filter did not see any pressure from the fuel pipe(I did not have to do anything to de-pressurise the fuel pipe). Tried starting and it did not, Not sure if there is power getting to the fuel pump, I hear no sound near the fuel tank if I open the fuel tank cap, while the ignition goes to ON position. Pls advise and many thanks for your fast responses, ThanksSep 28, 2009- sounds like your fuel pump has failed, that is the common cause of this problem, there should be a low whinning coming from tank with key turned to run it lasts for 1 second.Followed the above forChanged the Fuel Filter, Relay Switch and the Fuel Pump (today). Now I hear the little click sound when I turn the ignition key to ON, and tried starting using jumper cable as the battery went low. Also checked the fuel pump reset button in the cargo area, that looked to be in the ON position (ie I can push that button any further down)DOES not start, am I missing any thing , pls advise and as always thanks for the responses\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 18-06-2018

\015\012When the EVAP recovery system soak with few ounce of gasoline......the trap vapor will take few days escape.
\015\012
\015\012EVAP system is design to handle fuel vapor. Few ounce of gasoline\015\012can damage the fuel vapor recovery relay and decrease the service live\015\012of the recovery lines.

\015\012You can accelerate the process by locating the charcoal canister (near\015\012the nose of the car and same side as your gas filler door)
\015\012
\015\012MOVE the car to outdoor.
\015\012
\015\012Disconnect the EVAP line and let it air out by itself.
\015\012
\015\012DO NOT introduce any heat source or fan to speed up the process.
\015\012
\015\012Reconnect this EVAP hose and use a small amount of starting fluid at the intake manifold.

Check your battery cables. Make sure they dont pull out of the lugs and make sure they are grounded properly as this will cause you this problem. had similar experience not long ago.

\015\012Check the alternator to. You can take it in and have it tested or jump start it and disconnect your battery and see if it dies. IF it dies then the alternator is bad.
