Having problems with your 2001 Honda Accord ?
After I turned off the car today, it still sounded like the fan was running. I opened the hood and something was running, couldn't figure out what it was. I drove it around the block a few times and turned it off again. The problem was gone. What was the noise? Will it happen again? I have a 2001 EX Accord

It is the radiator cooling fan. It can and does come on at any time! It will sometimes run right after turning of the engine, usually for no more than a minute or two depending on how hot it is. this is a normal operation. There is propbably a sticker on top of the radiator warning you of the fan's operation.
