I doubt it. is it a random cylinder misfire or isolated to certain cylinders? if random, check for vacuum leaks, hook it to a scanner if you have one and check fuel trim. might need some alcohol or nerve medication to get through this one, misfires can be tough.if isolated, suspect fuel injector if plugs and wires are new. might want to check compression on dead holes
Hi my name is Tom and I am here to help.
\012You indicate that you changed the wires, but nothing of the plugs. Also, you do not say the timing was set. Have you double checked that the right wiresgo to the right plugs & the proper firing order.
\012If you have not done these, I would suggest you do and get back to me. A new set of wires are not always the solution. You can replace the wires exactly where the last ones were( for instance touching a hot exhaust manifold and you are back to misfiring.
\012Please get back to me if you have any questions. I can and will help you.
