Having problems with your 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe ?

I have a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe that was running through coolant very quickly. I took it in to a nation wide change to run a coolant system check - they could not find anything wrong except a hose clamp. A few days later when the car was warm I heard a hissing sound and noticed some spray from what appeared to be the housing or a bolt in the housing around the thermostat. I would think your thermostat is sticking, and the gasket around the thermostat is leaking. Replace both, and you should be okay. Better check to see if your cooling fan is cutting in too.
