99 jaguar knock sensor location?
The Knock Sensor is going to be mounted to the engine block or the manifold. If pinging or spark knock is their then the sensor produces a voltage signal that is sent to the PCM , then the PCM will ****** the timing based on the input it recieved. You can test it by hooking up a timing light and taping on the engine should result in timing change. I am not sure on your Jaguar where it is but usualy look for it towards the top of the block or in the valley of the intake and alot of times the bolt goes thru it. Hope this helps.
