Having problems with your 2001 Kia Sportage ?

Heating matrix I need to get to the small radiator located uner the glovebox on the passenger side as I have water mixed with coolant dripping from the glovebox and need to replace the radiator. How easy is this to do?

That's your heater core. Nasty job generally because it requires working under the dash at odd angles. Never done a Kia...how good are you with basic tools? Try it! Have the part located. Change the hoses if they are worn or brittle. Generally, you'll need a screw driver, thin pliers, new clamps, small ratchet set with extension bar. After installation, turn heater on full and warm up the engine. Turn off, allow to cool and top up coolant...be sure you use 50/50 mix...not water.
