Having problems with your 2001 Mazda 626 ?

Hello, My 2001 mazda 626lx will not blow out heat, only cool air. Changed the thermostat and mechanic says it is the heat control. If it is, what part is it do I need to buy? Cannot find "heat control" at auto stores on line, unless I am asking for the wrong part.
