Having problems with your 2001 Mazda Protege ?

I am changing brake pads and I cannot get the piston to go back into place . The car is a Mazda 2001 Protoge

Answers :

You will need a "C" clamp. I'd say get one thats a 6'' clamp. Slightly open the brake fluid resv to allow air to be pushed out as you depress the piston in the caliper. You can do it! Thank you , Quinn
You may need to get a special tool that presses the caliper cylinder in while rotating the plate....
