Having problems with your 2001 Nissan Quest ?

My minivan will not pass inspection. I put over 2k in repairs but since the "low wiper fluid" light wont shut off my mechanic will not pass it for inspection. EVERYTHING in the car is up and running. All the sensors are new, air filter, oil changed (engine and transmission) yet this one thing will now allow it to be inspected. 2001 Nissan Quest.. any suggestions?

Answers :

I assume you changed the sensor in the wiper fluid tank. The plug-in could be making poor contact with the sensor so try moving it on the sensor to see if that will put it out. If it does then change the plug-in. Try unplugging it and see if the light goes out. You could also try a jumper wire between the terminal ends. That may turn it off. If not then trace the wire harness for the wiper fluid sensor looking for a bare spot in the insulation on one or both of the wires. Tape up the bare spots. Hope this helps.
