Having problems with your 2001 Pontiac Grand Am SE ?

After a 45 min highway drive,I get an exhaust smell inside the car. with no exhaust leaks how that possible? on my 2001 grand am 4 cyl 185000 klms

Answers :

Make sure there are no leaks into the trunk at the rear of the car. When you drive at higher speeds a vacuum is created at the rear of the car and exhaust tends to fill that void. From there it can enter the trunk. Driving with a window open can make it worse.
