If you take off the upper belt cover and line up the top dead center timing mark the cam mark will be right on or off 180 degrees. Line up the dot on the cam with the arrow by rotating the crankshaft around till both the cam mark and the crank TDC mark line up. Now when you take off the lower cover all the marks will line up for the crank. They are usually pretty obvious, but if your are not sure at this point you can always paint your own. Just make sure when you slide the new belt on , all the timing marks line up.
