Having problems with your 2001 Toyota Corolla ?

2001 corolla air bag replacement ,

\015 I am replacing my air bags in this car , is there a module for them I cannot fint the air bag module if there is even one , the ecm is under the ash tray and lighter that I know , but I know on some cars you either have to replace or reset the module for the air bags , I have heard you do not have to replace it or but how do u get the air bag light out on this car , so I can get the new bags in so I do not make them deploy in the process. andy help , also where and which one is the fuse for the passenger side headlight ,I replaced both headlights and all bulbs are new and checked , I do not have the book on this car , thanks\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 30-11-2020

If you are replacing the air bags, you should replace the front left and right crash sensors, the spiral cable under the steering wheel, AND the center air bag sensor, which is in front of the console. If your car has seat-belt pretensioners and force limiters, you may have to replace them also. You will know this if the seat belts are "locked up". If you do not replace all of the parts, you may get a air-bag code, and the air bags may not deploy next time.
