Having problems with your 2001 Toyota Corolla ?

Can you adjust the TPS on a 2001 Corolla? If yes how do you adjust it?

\015 I tested the TPS with an ohm meter and these are the readings I got:\012Terminals 1 and 2 2.88\012Terminals 1 and 3 throttle valve fully closed 2.79\012Terminals 1 and 3 throttle valve fully open 0.88\012\012According to the repair manual terminals 1 and 2 should be between 2.5--5.9. 1 and 3 should be between 0.2--5.7 with throttle valve fully closed. So both those readings seem good, but with the throttle valve fully open it says it should be between 2.0--10.2. And my reading the number actually goes down with the throttle valve fully opened. So is the TPS bad or does it just need adjusting if that's even possible?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 24-09-2018
