Having problems with your 2002 Chevrolet Corvette ?

Coolant gauge rising at or above 240 degrees in stop and go traffic

\015 When I drive my corvette, it heats to about 200 to 220 degrees. While in stop and go traffic this am I noticed it rose to around 240 or so. I got alarmed and took the vehicle home. I noticed that as I drove the temperature dropped back into the normal range 200 to 220? What should be my course of action\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 22-04-2019

Answers :

Be sure to see if you may be a little low on your coolant but if that's all its doing feel good but your temp in your car shouldn,t go up all that much once it get to its running tempiture so keep a mental an physical eye on it but if it keeps going up an down specially when you give it gas an it goes up and down when you let off the gas you could have a problem
