\015\012This seems to be a problem with the Brake Return Spring which has either broken or is detached from the brake pedal. And due to this your brake is not pushing itself back. This can be a serious issue, you'll need to get this fixed by a mechanic.
\015\012Alternatively if you have right tools and can fix this yourself. You can buy the return spring from---
\015\012Return Spring
\015\012After the brake spring is fixed and if the light still comes on then check for a ground wire connected to the top rear of the engine block on the passenger side. You can find it by removing the engine cover and reaching back behind the intake manifold and down. This ground connection is bolted to the engine block and the connection becomes compromised over time by dirt, grease, cleaning products or rust.
\015\012You need to unbolt this ground, clean the surfaces and replace. On one other vehicle I just reached back and twisted this connection to get a firmer connection and the problems went away. \015\012It sounds too simple but it works. Try it first before going to the dealer or mechanic
