Having problems with your 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer ?

Both brake lights went out on my 02 trailblazer

There was a significan issue with brake lights on the early s-trucks from GM. I do not know if there was a recall on this issue, I do think so as it is safety related. If you have not taked your vehicle in for replacement lamp sockets to your dealer, I would suggest that you do. It should be free of charge. If you do not know if the vehicle has been repaired, the dealer can look it up in the GM service system under the vin code. I am not sure if they will do this over the phone for you, but it is worth the call.
Most brake lights end in parrallel grounds check them ... bad sockets and some cars have a module for the brake lights in the rear fender area looks like a pager or garage door opener if you find it unplug it and smell it if its burnt..
