Heat only comes on a little when the car is up to 65 to 70 miles per mile

Answers :

There is some clogs up in the heater core. When you go up to this range, there is is enough coolant pressure to push it in a little through the partly clogged up paths to deliver heat. Need to flush out the heater core.
