Having problems with your 2002 Chrysler Sebring ?

Hey folks, I have a 2002 chrysler Sebring (2.7l V6) and my heating is not working. I read some stuff about bypass valve or heat core and all that stuff but there was never an explanation how am I suppose to inspect or analyze the situation. So basically how am I suppose to check the valves? how is it working? and where are they located?

Hey Nico; I have the same vehicle. It may not be the fault your thinking of. My heater control panel was at fault due to broken solder joints on the electronic board. Infact, my A/C was acting up also. It took a few months to figure out but finally I went to a junk yard and for 40 bucks got another one. This fixed the problem. It all started when I replaced the radio and had to disconnect the heater control. When I removed the wiring connector I must have damaged the board. Hope this helps...KW
