\015 Hello my blower reved up to high speed then completely stopped working. \302\240I have already changed the radiator/AC fan and the associated fuse. \302\240I believe these 2 to be unreleated but stranger things have happened. \302\240 Looks like a lot of post about resistor. \302\240Any help would be great. \302\240Thanks in advance. \302\240Zac\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 17-06-2019

Chances are it is the resistor. I had the same problem with my 97. Then my blower motor blew. Take the resistor out, and check for burnt, or corroded connections. If found replace the resistor. They blow when the blower motor wears. It starts to draw too much power through it to operate it. And burns out the connections. So I would advise replacing the motor as well.
HI Zac the resistor shoud be bypassed in the high setting, If it is not working at all I would suspect the blower motor. If you have a volt meter you can check the power to the blower, should read about 12 volts with the switch in high position.
