Having problems with your 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan ?

2002 Grand Caravan - Blower works but zero heat.

\015 My 2002 Grand Caravan developed a problem with the heating/ventilation earlier this summer. The blower would work intermittently. With winter approaching and needing a working heater, I brought it into a garage. They put in a new resistor and new blower motor and the blower works great now but still no heat. They put in a new thermostat but still no heat. The heater core and radiator etc... were checked and all circulated hot. The problem seemed to be with the blend door actuator so that was switched out and still no heat when the center dial was turned from cooling to heating. The mechanic now seems to believe that the problem is located in a heater box (?) inside the dash that the blend door actuator connects to. Given that repairing this (if it is indeed the problem)would involve a costly dismantling of the dash and likely cost as much as the van is worth, I'm at the point where I'm going to scrap the thing. :( My question is: I've heard that this issue MIGHT be related to a simple fuse replacement. Anyone know where this fuse would be located? Thanks!\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 20-05-2019
