How to replace the Cam position sensor? - 2002 Dodge Intrepid

Answers :

You didn't state what engine you have. If you have the 2.7 L, the cam position sensor is bolted right to the front of the left cylinder head. Disconnect the wire, remove the bolt, pull out the sensor. Be gentle inserting the new sensor, and make sure the bolt hole is aligned while installing it, so the sensor isn't damaged by contact with the camshaft.

\015\012I'm not sure where the sensor is located on a 3.5 L, but I would suspect it is similar.
