Having problems with your 2002 Dodge Stratus ?

Engine cranks as normal but just will not turn over. It sounds as if it wants to ''kick'' over and sometimes you smell gas but just doesn't. Drove on Saturday and haven't had any problems with this...parked all day on Sunday and this happened when I tried to start on Monday.

Answers :

Ohm out your spark plug wires. They should have 15k resistance, new. Older ones lose conductivity. Attach leads and bend them back & forth gently. Jumping needle means replace them, ALL of them. Best 35 bucks (4cyl) you'll ever spend. If changing spark pugs, stay away from single platinum, they don't play nice with DIC engines, go double platinum. She'll fire, she'll run, she'll walk the damn dog after that. Cheers.
