If the coils are becoming wet with water then I would look into the cowl area of the engine compartment to see if it is dumping rain water onto the engine (cowl area is between the back of the hood and the windshield) you could have a bad or missing weather seal. Try hosing the area with a water hose under moderate pressure, then check for water passing into the engine compartment. If it is wet with coolant, then look for a leaky heater or coolant hose. If the wetting is engine oil look at the valve covers and intake manifold for leaks.

I get asked this question constantly and there is no concrete fix for it other than making sure they are seated in the hole good and that the boots are being change with coil packs. i have found aftermarket coils seem to go bad quickly compared to deal part. but napa does sell a very good one that i have alot of luck with. they even sell them as a kit of 8. well good luck and i hope this help in some little way.
