Having problems with your 2002 Ford Escape ?

2002 Ford Escape will not start

\015 I have a 2002 Ford Escape v6 and it will not start. We have tried the following already: Engine will crank but won't start. Fuel pump is working and fuel pressure is good. Sprayed starting fluid and still won't start (just to eliminate fuel issue altogether). Replaced spark plugs, checked spark all the way to the plug and it's good. Replaced crank angle sensor, camshaft position sensor, and knock sensor. Still will not start. During attempts to start, it would backfire through the throttle body every now and again but not consistent. Visually checked the timing chain and it appears to be fine. Battery is brand new and was tested. Checked anti-theft system by inserting key in ignition and see that the theft light goes off when attempting to start.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 29-11-2021

Answers :

USE A NOID LIGHT TO SEE IF THE PCM IS PULSING THE INJECTORS
This sounds to me like a timing issue.
\012Have a mechanic check it.
