Running hot - 2002 Ford Taurus

Answers :

Too many possibilites. Even old spark plugs can make it run hot. Slipping belts also possible. Bad thermostat is common. Retarded ignition timing can do it. Problems with the radiator fan motor/relay/sensor can do it. Low coolant is possilbe. Head gasket is worst case scenario. I would not suggest a flush this new. But you could run a pressure check on the radiator. See if it holds pressure. Also verify with a thermometer, because the gauge could be off instead.
Okay guys thanks for the input. i followed my gut about the water pump, and what do you know? the propeller was like a saw blade, hince the high RPM's the only thing forcing the flow of antifreeze.thanks again
